RomânăThe Jean Monnet Chair 101081375 — EUJUSEF — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH “European Union – Area of Justice, Security and Freedom” (EUJUSEF) organized the Roundtable “Food Security: Challenges of the Future” on 04 April 2023 at 09:00. The event provided an academic and practice-oriented platform to examine key risks to food security—such as overlapping crises, supply chain vulnerabilities, climate-related pressures, and economic constraints—while also discussing solutions and good practices promoted at the European Union level.
Through this roundtable, the EUJUSEF project strengthened the understanding of food security as an essential component of human security, highlighting the connections between public policies, European standards, resilience, and consumer protection. The activity also supported the dissemination of the Chair’s teaching and research outputs and fostered meaningful exchange among participants, contributing to evidence-based conclusions and recommendations relevant to both academia and society.
